CHOATE Construction Company
Needing to expand their growing Savannah operations, Choate Construction Company chose to locate to The Mulberry I office building being built by Choate.
SWI wanted to use basic construction materials as the primary finishes, so concrete, metal, and wood formed the palette for the space. The logo wall in the Reception area features a surface coating with the appearance of raked and smooth concrete. Brushed metal cladding forms the backdrop wall for the plasma TV.
All public spaces have an open ceiling to give the illusion of an unfinished area and are accented with suspended wood panels, acrylic block ceiling system, and acoustical cloud drop ceilings.
Stained concrete floors throughout the open spaces were combined with curved carpet tiles. Angled and slanted walls are used to break the space and make it more interesting.
